Our Olive Oil
Extra virgin olive oil from century-old groves, cold-pressed within hours of harvest
For over 200 years, the olive trees at Podere Il Poggio have been producing some of Tuscany's finest oil. Our ancient groves, some with trees over a century old, benefit from the ideal hillside position and the unique microclimate of the Radicondoli area.

A Living Tradition
The olive groves at Podere Il Poggio have been part of the landscape since before 1810. Each tree represents decades—sometimes centuries—of careful tending, pruning, and harvest. The same families that worked these groves in the mezzadria system passed down not just land, but knowledge: when to harvest for optimal oil, how to read the trees' needs, which traditional methods produce the best results.
Today, we continue these traditions. Our oil isn't produced for mass markets—it's made the way it has been for generations, with patience, respect for the land, and an understanding that the best olive oil comes from trees that are treated as the living heritage they are.
